A Fresh Breeze at iXtenso.com
New outfit optimises service
The great amount of reports, articles, product information and interviews needs a new stage: A year after the launch of the retail online journal iXtenso.com it is time for a relaunch. Therefore, the website is now being presented in a new outfit introducing a clearly-arranged presentation of all current news.
„We wanted to provide our readers with an easy navigation for all the information contained within iXtenso.com“, project manager Marc Pradel explains. The website is now being divided into three areas – the journal, the online catalogue and a current schedule of events. Interviews, reports and videos make up the online journal‘s editorial specials comprising current topics from the retail branch. Business news from the world of retail and case studies create a truly coherent picture. „This area will reflect the trends dominating the retail branch“, Pradel says.
The online catalogue, on the other hand, contains everything the retail business has on offer for the retail business – a vast amount of entries from companies coming from areas such as office interior, software, cash desks, security, cooling systems, lightings or logistics as well as marketing and shop planning can be found here. The reader is able to browse through products and services provided by companies and it is possible to search with the help of keywords or very explicitly by typing in the product name. The research results can be directly compared to each other. A contact form enables those interested to straight away get in touch with the right business contact person.
„Last but not least, our calendar combines all important dates taking place in retail“, Pradel explains the content of iXtenso.com‘s third structural part. There, everybody can get an overview on all major branch meetings, trade fairs or conferences taking place throughout the next year. „The new structure based on the three areas called journal, online catalogue and event calendar is an all-round service to all decision makers from retail head offices and specialised trade.“
