EnergyFlex: The flexible controller that saves energy

Eliwell, a leader in the market of controlling small and medium air conditioning units for over a decade, is presenting its new line of EnergyFlex controllers at the Expocomfort Exhibition. The line includes a range of products dedicated to central air conditioning.

Installation and configuration are made easy by a wide range of models and expansion modules that allow the EnergyFlex controllers to be adapted to various application requirements, from the single unit to complex systems.

EnergyFlex controllers offer a series of innovative functions that considerably cut system energy consumption thanks to advanced regulation algorithms. To name a few, there are modulating control of the water pump, dynamic defrosting, analogue control of condensation, and heat pump disabling when outdoor temperatures are very low.

A large and easy-to-read display provides access to all controller functions, with different levels of access that can be customized depending on the type of user. Attractive remote keyboards are also available for installation in the air-conditioned rooms. The units can also be customized with symbols, name and logo of the machine manufacturer.

Programming is carried out using the new DeviceManager software, which also makes it possible to monitor and record the system’s variables in real time, and the Multi Function Key so the controller configuration parameters, application programs and alarm log can be uploaded and downloaded. ModBus protocol-based system supervision, monitoring and management systems can also be connected via a built-in RS485 serial port.
