Martin Smethurst joins Displaydata
Prior to Displaydata, Smethurst served as the Managing Director for Wincor Nixdorf in the U.K.
Displaydata has announced that Martin Smethurst has joined as Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing. Smethurst brings more than 20 years experience in advising retailers worldwide on how to drive transformation, productivity and sustainable growth within their organisations. In his new role at Displaydata, Smethurst will lead the sales and marketing teams where he will be responsible for furthering the company’s explosive global growth
Prior to Displaydata, Smethurst served as the Managing Director for Wincor Nixdorf in the U.K. and Ireland, and was also a member of the main board where he took an active role in the European retail leadership team driving the UK&I business to profitable growth. A recognised leader in the retail industry, Smethurst has also served as Head of Retail for Cisco and as Sales and Marketing Director for MicroStrategy, IntelliQ and Stellent (now Oracle).
