EuroCIS gears up Retail for its Entry into the Multichannel World
Multichannel Area and Multichannel Forum: Specialists show how to Successfully Network On and Offline Channels
Linking offline and online channels, bricks and mortar and E-commerce will be highlighted at the forthcoming EuroCIS even more than was already the case at previous editions of the event. This is because multichannel retail is becoming the global standard in retail and a key success factor for more and more companies.
For this reason EuroCIS, held in Düsseldorf from 24 to 26 February 2015, will boast a special, dedicated Multichannel Area. Presented here will be companies like Bitplaces, Bluetrade, Inventorum, Phizzard, Softpoint and Wallmob who are specialised in the multichannel field and who will be showcasing innovative products and solutions that retailers can successfully use to implement, run and network the different channels.
Inventorum, for instance, will be presenting an iPAD checkout that links the local store with the online one, making it possible to carry out comprehensive inventory management, invoicing and bookkeeping. Another example: Phizzard is a company that digitalises and links bricks and mortar retail with the online shop using touchscreen displays. For the consumer this means very simple-to-use iPAD-based technology at your shop premises that assists shoppers when trying on and selecting clothes and shoes. At a glance via iPAD while they are in the changing room the person can, for instance, see what sizes and colours this item is currently available in and what items of underwear or clothing or what accessory it can be combined with. This means hassle-free cross-selling between all branches and the online shops can become a reality.
EuroCIS visitors benefit not just from the range offered by exhibitors at their stands but also from the current case studies from real life and the future forecasts that will be discussed in the adjacent Multi-Channel Forum (bilingual event held in German and English). This forum will also feature a daily Innovation Hour where exhibitors from the Multichannel Area can showcase their products.
