Innovative Technology Ltd (ITL) announce final plans for EuroCIS which takes place on 18-20 February 2025 in Düsseldorf, Germany. EuroCIS – ‘the leading trade fair for retail technology’ attracts retail suppliers and industry professionals from all over the world for three days of networking, sales and information exchange. ITL will be showcasing some exciting cash validation and age & identity verification solutions in Hall 9 booth A21.
Thorsten Labusch, VP of Sales & Business Development for ITL said, “This year the booth will be divided equally between our cash validation and AI-powered age & identity divisions. A key focal point on the booth which connects the two divisions will be our self-checkout (SCO) demo showing our note, coin and age verification solutions all working together, fully integrated with a POS system. Using the NV4000 multi-note recycler and SMART Coin System (SCS), we can demonstrate how retailers with high volume transactions can accelerate customer throughput with fewer cash refills. Plus with ICU Lite integrated into the self-checkout, age checks are automated to help prevent retailers selling age-restricted goods to underage customers. We are also delighted that our booth will be one of the stopping points on the Guided Innovation Tour this year – we look forward welcoming retail representatives to demonstrate how AI and machine learning can revolutionise efficiency in retail.”
Thorsten continued, “We are trusted in the industry and have over 30 years supplying banknote validation and recycling solutions which are designed to give organisations seamless cash transactions for their customers. We’ve recently upgraded our flagship NV4000 multi-note recycler with even higher capacities which will be on the booth for visitors to test out, plus we are debuting our new customer facing Spectral BNF (Bulk Note Feeder) that allows up to 30 bulk note insertion.”
Christian Czeskleba, Senior Business Development Manager for ITL’s age & identity range commented, “We’re excited to show EuroCIS visitors our latest AI-powered technology for anonymous age checks, ID verification, digital advertisements and consumer analytics. We have several solutions available to help retailers avoid selling age-restricted goods to minors. ICU Lite can be integrated into self-checkout terminals to automate age checks using a simple API. MyCheckr or MyCheckr Mini are ideal for performing age checks at manned checkouts to give till operators the confidence to ask for ID or can be placed where age restricted goods are located such as locked fridges or cabinets, to allow access, improve security and generate staff efficiencies. As well as providing accurate and unlimited age checks at a one-off cost, our technology can also offer retailers targeted digital advertising based on customer demographics and anonymous customer analytical data too, all without comprising on customer privacy.”
Concluding Thorsten said, “We’ve got a full team of experts on booth 9A21 who are looking forward to showing visitors our complete portfolio – be sure to come along and demo our latest innovations.”
