The leading trade fair for retail technology suppliers and industry professionals pulled in big crowds for three days of networking, sales and information exchange. ITL showcased their latest cash validation and age & identity verification solutions which attracted much attention at the show.
Thorsten Labusch, VP of Sales & Business Development for ITL said, “We were absolutely blown away with the show this year. From the moment the doors opened we had a booth full of visitors all checking out our technology. The self-checkout (SCO) demo showing our note, coin and age verification solutions fully integrated with a POS system attracted a huge amount of interest. Our booth was also one of the stops on the Guided Retail Innovation Tour which was a fantastic way to showcase our age verification technology to visitors.”
ITL’s flagship cash validator and recycler – the NV4000 which has recently been upgraded with higher recycling capacities was centre stage. This advanced, mixed denomination note recycler is designed for high volume retail applications such as self-checkouts.
Thorsten continued, “On the cash side, the NV4000 undoubtedly attracted most interest. Retailers were impressed with how this device can accelerate customer throughput, significantly reduce expensive service calls and improve staff efficiency. By combining the NV4000 with a SMART Coin System (SCS) we can provide a complete cash payment solution for both notes and coins, resulting in fewer cash refills and ensuring checkouts remain operational.”
Innovative also have a range of AI-powered age & identity verification solutions designed for retailers who sell age restricted products to help prevent underage access.
Commenting on the success of their age check technology at the show, Christian Czeskleba, Senior Business Development Manager said, “ Our solutions offering anonymous age checks were a massive hit at EuroCIS this year with retailers keen to start using our technology in their stores. MyCheckr or MyCheckr Mini are ideal for performing age checks at manned checkouts to give till operators the confidence to ask for ID, and ICU Lite can be integrated into self-checkout terminals to automate age checks using a simple API. The demos were really well received and all the Guided Retail Innovation Tour delegates were impressed with how our technology can help speed up age checks and prevent underage sales.”
Concluding Thorsten said, “ The show was really productive for us and it was great to catch up with all our long-standing customers and also see so many of our products on partner and customer booths too. We look forward to following up on all the enquiries over the coming weeks.”
