With Siteco Orbiter 2, Siteco presents the first ever suspended luminaire for office environments with a combination of high-performance LEDs and ELDACON microprismatic technology.
Individualisation of light was a major priority during the development of the Siteco Orbiter 2. The LEDs incorporated in the Siteco Orbiter 2 allow individual control of light colour and light characteristics and convince with a very high brilliance.
The LEDs appear as small light spots and create an interesting play of light. Warm-white, comfortable direct light is emitted via ELDACON micro-prismatic structures without glare into the room. In addition, cooler indirect light creates a daylight-similar light atmosphere. Both light components are separately dimmable and can be combined to create various light atmospheres.
A comfortable, personalised control concept rounds off the portfolio of the Siteco Orbiter 2. All light components can be adjusted according to user requirements and scene-setting can be programmed (via remote control or touch panel). Additional blue LEDs create a decorative ‘night glow’ effect within the offices during nocturnal hours.
In addition to the brilliant light quality and the individual settings Siteco Orbiter 2 has also a fascinating appeal with its futuristic form and high quality materials, and floats in space like a flat disc, suspended with filigree wire hangers. The transparent light core is enclosed on its sides by a special aluminium profile with built-in cooling ribs.
