Aldabra names Corrado Gattoni as Sales and Marketing Vice President
The impressive growth Aldabra has recorded over the last few years (in 2011 turnover was up 43% from 2010) has been repeated in 2012. As of May 31st, turnover was up 12% compared to the first 5 months of 2011. Following on from this important development, the company has decided to set up a new management office: Sales and Marketing.
The appointment of Corrado Gattoni as Sales and Marketing Vice President represents two things for Aldabra: one, a professional and goal-driven restructuring of the business in view of its current target markets; and two, an opportunity to branch out into new markets.
Gattoni has already set two main targets: strengthen the brand and increase Aldabra's visibility and presence on strategic markets. To achieve the latter goal, the company is already planning to build a number of overseas HQs to complement existing offices in Hong Kong, China and India.
"Corrado has a wealth of international professional experience in the high-end product segment. Just look at his track record: he has worked for companies such as De Padova Srl and Cassina Spa and he also had a spell at lighting specialists Artemide Spa", said Walter Gadda, President and founder of Aldabra.
"I'm delighted to be able to make another tangible commitment to the company's ongoing success. Aldabra is a business on the up: we're in good health, receiving important international recognition and prestigious contracts along the way thanks to the originality of our products. The ability of Aldabra to intelligently tap into technological developments is one of its key strengths. Our research into design will show that this is where Aldabra's competitive advantage lies in the future". – Corrado Gattoni.
