Around 40 tons of cardboard are yearly disposed by Edeka Bruns in Friedrichsfehn, Oldenburg, with the AutoLoadBaler. The collection and the disposal of the cardboard is a part of the daily business.

Previously, the cardboard was collected on wheelchairs. The employees had to travel long distances to the outside to get to the compacting container. On the floors were “a huge heap of waste”, which was falling on the way to the compacting container and this must also be repealed. Outside arrived, the cardboard had again to be touched and thrown into the press container - in all weathers.

More time for the core business

Since the installation of the AutoLoadBaler the staffs have more time for quality work such as putting away the goods, the consulting and sale. Collecting with the AutoLoadBaler collection carts makes no more work. The disposal of board is now done in one operation.

Due to the establishment of the AutoLoadBaler behind the door in the warehouse walkways are shortened. The staff gains time for the core business. Mr. Bruns plans even in the new construction with the internal installation. The full collection cart is only pushed in the press and the employee goes with a new collection cart ahead. The AutoLoadBaler makes draining and pressing by itself.  Especially large boxes can be loaded anytime from the front.

The market manager is satisfied

Mr. Bruns managing director of Edeka Bruns: "My personal highlight is when I get in the morning into the market and the fresh department goods has been granted, nothing stands in the stock, it is everything compressed. The AutoLoadBaler solves at a stroke the problems of cardboard disposal: no more crushing the board, the customer is not disturbed about the lying around scrapes of board, so we achieve a clean appearance. It is sensational that the board must only be taken one time. The payback period is about 2.5 years. A better return is not imaginable. Everyone should look out for this breakthrough solution."

Sale of bales

"With the AutoLoadBaler you can work independently with disposers. Cardboard that had to be payed before in advance, can now be selled  at a open market to  a good price , "says Mr. Bruns.
