Success in store for Bleep at the Open Championship 2014
Bleep to supply the Open Championship 2014 at Royal Liverpool
The Open Championship, or simply The Open, is the oldest of the four major championships in professional golf. Royal Liverpool Golf Club first played host to the Open Championship in 1987 and come July, the historic club will welcome the event for the 12th time.
Robustness, reliability and innovative features were key requirements for the pinnacle of the British golfing calendar, with 44 TS-910 touch screen terminals to be installed across Hoylake in various retail stores.
Each terminal will feature a built in laser scanner and thermal printer, saving space and reducing the power requirements, while also speeding up the checkout process. Ingenico chip and pin devices will be directly integrated to the TS-910's, removing the necessity to rekey amounts, reducing errors and ensuring fast but accurate transactions, which also allow for the latest in payment technologies, such as contactless and mobile phone payments. Our cloud based Web Back Office will provide live sales and stock data for each individual store, allowing for more informed management decisions to maximise sales throughout the duration of the event.
After the recent news that Bleep is also supplying systems for the Commonwealth Games and the FIFA World Cup, this further highlights our reputation as the event retail champion. Bleep EPOS technology caters for retail and hospitality environments, for businesses big and small, across the UK. Any business can enjoy the same benefits of the Open Championship, with affordable and positive impacts on customer interaction, spend per head, faster payment processing and greater control through management reporting, achievable for all.
