Hoeft & Wessel: New partner Telis reinforces Italian business

Exclusive partner for mobile solutions from Skeye

The road from Hoeft & Wessel leads to Rome: The IT hardware and software specialist for ticketing, parking and mobile solutions has acquired an additional partner with a view to reinforcing its successful business in southern Europe and Italy. With immediate effect, the Italian company Telis S.p.A (Telecommunication Integrated Services), headquartered in the "Eternal City", will be supporting the distribution of mobile Skeye brand terminals in collaboration with Hoeft & Wessel´s Milan office.

Telis is a leading company in the field of Services and Solution Provider for telecommunications and IT in Italy. In order to be in step with business market evolution and ensure the best solutions to its Customers, Telis has decided to establish this new partnership.

As a Platinum Partner of Hoeft & Wessel AG, the new Italian partner has ambitious goals and plans to record further growth thanks to its dense network of customers and distribution centres. The clientele of Telis comprises the main telecommunications and IT companies in Italy. Telecom Italia is one of its regular customers.

Very much to the pleasure of Peter Siggaard-Andersen, Head of Skeye Global Channel at Hoeft & Wessel: "Thanks to the partnership with Telis, we will further strengthen our already very good position in the Italian market for mobile data capture systems. Skeye and Telis are ideal complements to each other. Especially in the field of service and solutions business, that is to say beyond pure hardware, namely in pre- and post-sales service, the two companies will benefit mutually from each other´s strengths and experience."

The co-operative venture with Telis represents a further key element of Hoeft & Wessel´s internationalisation strategy: in the course of 2011, as many as 16 new partners have already opted for Skeye products from Hoeft & Wessel. By the end of the year, the share of revenues accounted for by the partner business in the Skeye division of Hoeft & Wessel AG is expected to rise to well over one third.
