When long-term Retail Pro user and One Step Retail Solutions client, Grand Canyon University (GCU) Team Shop, heard that mobile point of sale was available as an add-on to their existing system, the decision to upgrade was simple.

Two months after their mobile point of sale implementation was complete, the GCU Team Shop manager has just reported a 50% increase in sales for the summer of 2013 to One Step Retail Solutions.

“With the growth of the University, it has been very important for us to be able to provide merchandise to the offsite employee locations, as well as off-site University events. The mobile system has been very easy to learn and it makes training a lot easier when the system is set up almost exactly the same as the Team Shop’s [existing] POS system,” said Rachel Byrd, the manager of the GCU Team Shop. She goes on to explain, “This mobile system is something that we needed in order to provide merchandise to multiple locations, so when I heard Retail Pro was coming out with this new system, I had to learn more about it! We have been using the mobile system for 2 months now and I have been more than satisfied with our experience and the convenience of the mobile Retail Pro system. The system has increased our sales by approximately 50% for the summer by being able to travel to different events and sell our University’s apparel.”
