PwC's annual global survey of online shoppers. The survey focuses on exposing some of the hype, fads and fiction surrounding consumer behaviour with a view to retailers being able to better engage with their customers.
Through surveying 11,000-plus shoppers across four continents, we came up with our '10 myths of multichannel retailing' to help retailers look before they leap when making investment decisions.
The myths touch on issues ranging from the real role of social media in the online shopping experience, to which devices consumers are actually using when purchasing, to the underlying reasons shoppers flock to and stay loyal to their favourite online and physical stores.
