Wireless Control Systems - Easy to install, easy to adapt, thanks to RadioAdapter communication modules
Just five hours, that's all it took Eliwell to install the TelevisNet monitoring system and wireless communication system in a 7000 square metre hypermarket. Eliwell worked with Linde K.T. Italiana to install its RadioAdapter wireless communication modules. A totally cable free full monitoring and control system spanning 27 different control points, to create a wireless system in absolutely no time at all.
Flexibility is after all the key feature of wireless monitoring systems, designed specifically to adapt to the exact needs of the plant, and also ideal for applications where conventional cabled systems would be too expensive or inadequate.
Indeed, plug-in chiller cabinets – which are often moved around the sales floor to showcase products on special offer or during other events – can also be included in monitoring systems featuring RadioAdapter communication modules; likewise for remote points of the building such as the main refrigeration units, without the costly and timely burden of laying cables. The system can also be easily extended, and new devices inserted depending on how the particular sales outlet needs to develop and expand.
According to Marco Masini, After Sales and Service Manager for Linde K.T. Italiana, Eliwell's RadioAdapter can also be used to control other types of retail sales equipment or in facility management applications.
In the system that Eliwell and Linde K.T. Italiana created, each RadioAdapter-linked controller sends data to the central TelevisNet system. Using TelevisNet, all parts of the plant can be monitored and controlled from a distance via web.
