Bizerba presents the new, fully-automatic GLM-Emaxx labeling line for weight-variable price and product labeling in retail, trade and small industrial operations.

The labeler can be used as a stand-alone device with manual feed or can be integrated into existing production lines for fully-automatic price labeling. The GLM-Emaxx prints all the details that must be shown as part of theEU Regulation 1169/2011, without sacrificing performance. The internal memory provides sufficient space to individually design and store item details, logos and layouts.

The right scales and the corresponding belt can be selected according to the package size and the weight, in order to maximize production output. The GLM-Emaxx can control up to two labelers and label 70 packages per minute at maximum output, by air-jet or piston applicator. With either direct thermal or thermal transfer printing, Bizerba guarantees high quality labels that are easy to read.

Clear and easy to maintain

Depending on requirements, the GLM-Emaxx can be equipped with a 7-inch colour display with membrane keyboard or with a 12-inch touchscreen. Users can configure the two operating terminals individually, which prevents incorrect entries and makes operation easier. To make cleaning easier, no tools are needed to change belts and belt beds. The same applies to maintenance of the printer, significantly reducing downtime.

Prints in all languages

The technical features of the labeler include a 2 GB memory and an external USB port, which enables updates, backups and service printouts. An internal connection is responsible for logging process data. The device processes and prints all common barcodes such as data matrix and QR codes at a maximum speed of 250mm/s. The option to enter text and print UNICODE fonts opens up new global sales markets for the food manufacturer. If an error occurs, Bizerba Service can access the device 'remotely', check the configuration and retrieve all information such as device history.
