Strategic Appointment Strengthens TNS Payments Team

Payments industry specialist, Lisa Shipley, is joining TNS as Head of Global Strategy for its Payments Division

In the newly created role, Ms. Shipley will be responsible for setting the strategic direction for the division. Ms Shipley, who will be based at the company’s headquarters in Reston, Virginia, will also work closely with TNS’ product, sales, development and operations teams across the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific regions to ensure the consistent execution of the strategy worldwide.

Prior to joining TNS, Ms. Shipley was Senior Vice President of Enterprise Accounts at the First Data Corporation. As part of this role, Ms Shipley managed the company’s Money Network business and its alternative payment provider customers.

A seasoned industry professional, Ms. Shipley has more than 25 years of experience. She joined First Data from Ingenico where she served as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing and, prior to that, she held the same position at Hypercom North America for 12 years. Ms Shipley also spent 10 years with NationsBank where she was responsible for its terminal management business.

At TNS, Ms. Shipley will also proactively develop relationships with key industry stakeholders, furthering the broad network of contacts she has already nurtured from her industry experience and through her role as President Elect of W-Net, a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of women into senior positions in the payments industry.
