Slicing, weighing, cashing
Bizerba presents new products for the trade and hospitality industry at ISS GUT!
Bizerba will be exhibiting at ISS GUT! in Leipzig for the first time from November 1 through 3 (Hall 2, Booth K10). The manufacturer will be presenting its slicing and weighing technology for the trade and hospitality industry as well as cashing systems and the merchandise management software .CWS.
The manual vertical slicer Validoline VSC 280 W features an integrated checkweigher. This allows the operators to calculate exactly how much of the product has already been sliced in order to arrive at the precise target weight, which saves them slicing too much and having to remove the extra slices later. The VSC 280 W is also ideal for producing thicker slices, such as of meat loaf or bread, and weighing them in manageable portions of up to 3 kg. The 10° blade angle ensures excellent gliding properties and therefore optimal ergonomics.
This all-rounder is especially suited to application in kitchens. It is easy to operate and includes intelligent quick-release systems, for example on the slide and knife cover, so that it takes users no time at all to clean and learn how to operate the machine.
The manual vertical slicer VS12 CW eE guarantees hygienic food processing. The slicer features an integrated checkweigher and Bizerba Ceraclean surface sealing, which makes it easy to remove any product remains and to clean the machine. The VS12 CW also includes intelligent Emotion drive control, which allows the automatic adjustment of slicing performance for each product, thereby ensuring sustainable energy savings. Furthermore, the machine’s surface is less prone to heating and the sliced product stays fresh longer.
Central management
The .CWS merchandise management system supports businesses that are expected to filter information to more than one branch. This system controls all the information relevant to weighing and labelling from one central source. Item names, product information, allergy information and nutritional values can be saved using the industry software and transmitted to the relevant cashing and weighing systems. This is particularly beneficial in complying with the EU regulation on the provision of food information as it ensures that key data only has to be adapted once.
Bizerba is introducing the XC 300 labelling system from its XC line to support the implementation of the EU regulation in the scale network.
