Save Time, Money and Go Green with new innovative TOSHIBA POS Printers

TOSHIBA is showing the new generation of high speed label printers

TRST-A15B
TRST-A15B
Anyone who is really interested both in increased efficiency around the checkout and also in POS cannot ignore TOSHIBA. The manufacturer of innovative logistical and cash register solutions provides a whole range of unusual innovations in the field of cash registers, label printing, logistics and company.

This naturally includes the fastest and double-side printing label printers, which are available in the market, fresh from production, just in time for the trade fair: both the TRST-A15 and TRST-A10 models offer more flexibility and efficiency in label printing. The TRST-A15 prints on both sides- which from the retail trade receipt through to the boarding pass ensures reduced printing times and falling paper costs. On the other hand, the TRST-A10 gets to work with a record breaking 225 mm/second– it also features the new power escape function for extremely secure handling.

TOSHIBA TRST-A15 - double-printed, - faster sales.
The innovation in terms of versatility on the TOSHIBA stand is the TRST-A15. The completely newly-developed thermo-printer is the flexibility star in the TRST family – and is fitted with the new high speed printing features for double-sided printing in a single-pass procedure.

Double-sided receipt printing ‘in one go’ is therefore now standard at the kiosk or at the check-in desk. But this is not all: the TRST-A15 also offers a color option. Thus for example, special offer information can be printed on receipts, or attractively-designed coupons can be printed for kiosk applications, using an additional special color.

The printing speed of 170 mm/second- double-sided – provides quality printing without really measurable waiting times- in print widths of 58 mm or 80 mm. In practice the double-sided printing not only means a tangible time saving in transaction processing, but also reduces paper consumption and thus the paper costs by around 25%. In addition, there is no longer any need for the cost-intensive production and ordering of paper rolls which are printed on the back- the TRST-A15 does this on the fly, so to speak.

And because the back of the receipt can be used for special offers, sales, information or other advertising purposes, the TRST-A15 opens up a whole new range of possibilities in the field of marketing. With the appropriate software support the content can not only be updated on a weekly basis, but can be changed from transaction to transaction, from customer to customer.

Because of its unusual power supply concept, the TRST-A15 can be used in many different POS and mobile application environments. For example, the power supply can be switched by means of software commands. The integration in systems without main power supply is also no problem.

The new TRST series can be configured in numerous modules. Apart from a mains cable and paper guide for 58mmm-wide paper rolls, a parallel interface card is also available, which complements the standard serial and USB ports.

TOSHIBA customers also have the choice when it comes to casings: they are available in black or in white. Thus the smooth integration into the customer environment succeeds not only technically, but also optically.

Not to forget - with its dimensions of 145.5 x 138.5 x 221.0 mm (width x height x depth) and a weight of 2.2 kg, the TRST-A15 is completely at home in the smallest of working spaces.

TOSHIBA TRST-A15 – the most important data in overview:
  • Double-sided thermo-printing
  • Two color printing for advertising and coupons
  • Flexible power supply concept
  • Variable paper widths (58mm / 80mm)
  • Flexible connection capability (USB, RS-232 or parallel)
  • Long working life
  • Compatibility with installed printing systems
  • Low TCO through paper savings, time saving for less-frequent paper change
  • Storage savings due to smaller storage quantities
  • Environmentally-friendly (paper saving)

TOSHIBA TRST-A10 – none prints faster.
The new TRST-A10 may ‘only’ print on one side when compared to its A15 range relative, but it gets to work at a record breaking rate of 225 mm/second. It is thus the fasted single-side thermo-printer currently available in the market- and optimized for all applications where small, but perhaps decisive time advantages are required at the POS.

Like all the models in the TRST label printer family, the TRST-A10 also features the flexible power supply concept. It can be retrofitted with a second color, is extremely connectible and usable in a wide range of environments.

One particular highlight is the new power escape system. It enables even faster and more secure handling at the point of sale. In short, the TRST-A10 has what it takes to be a versatile use standard label printer. And this is not only due to its outstanding speed and the complete practice-oriented features, but also because of the definitely attractive price.

TOSHIBA TRST-A10 – the most important data in overview:
  • Fastest single side thermo-printer (225mm/second)
  • Stability through the power escape system
  • Two color printing for advertising and coupons
  • Flexible power supply concept
  • Variable paper widths (58mm / 80mm)
  • Flexible connection capability (USB, RS-232 or parallel)
  • Long working life
  • Compatibility with installed print systems
