2012 Consumer ResearchThe survey examines how consumers have modified their shopping behavior in light of current market conditions. Part of an international research project commissioned by Aldata, data in this brief is broken out for the UK only and is based on data from more than 1,000 respondents.
Key findings emerging from the research include:
A significant percentage of respondents felt retailers are not doing enough to cut the cost of their regular shop Shoppers confimed that they visit more than one store to secure the best deals habitually and are now buying less Shoppers ask for unbundled offers and value Loyalty schemes as a way of reducing overall costs
