Outdoor and craft brew companies put public lands before profit
20 brands raise money in fourth annual “We Keep It Wild” campaign
Outdoor and craft brew companies are putting public lands before profit throughout the month of April by hosting “We Keep It Wild” online promotions to benefit The Conservation Alliance. Funds raised will help further the Alliance’s mission to protect wild places for their habitat and recreation values.
A record 20 companies are hosting fundraisers for The Conservation Alliance in the fourth annual We Keep It Wild campaign. This year’s confirmed partners include: adidas Outdoor; Arc’teryx; BOCO Gear; Bronwen Jewelry; CamelBak Products, LLC; Deschutes Brewery; FootZone of Bend; Founders Brewing Co.; GRAYL; Jaybird Sport; Helly Hansen; Kelty, Inc.; Klean Kanteen; Last Exit Goods; Moosejaw; NEMO Equipment; Osprey Packs; OutsideIN; Ruffwear; and Ultimate Direction.
“Member participation in our annual We Keep It Wild sale is optional, and we are honored that 20 brands have chosen to increase their commitment to protecting the places we play,” said Josie Norris, program manager at The Conservation Alliance. “The impact of this campaign goes beyond just raising money for The Conservation Alliance. Our members are broadcasting messages about the importance of protecting wild places to their consumers. This is a win for our public lands too.”
