New research shows NCR leads in self-checkout and EPOS technology
NCR grows share of self-checkout shipments in key markets
NCR Corporation (NYSE: NCR) leads the world in self-checkout (SCO) technology, according to research published by strategic research and consulting firm RBR. NCR, the global leader in consumer transaction technologies, saw shipment growth in key markets, including North America, Central and Eastern Europe, and Latin America, and APAC.
According to RBR’s “Global EPOS and Self-Checkout 2016” report, NCR also saw an increase in its shipments of electronic point-of-sale (EPOS) technology – including the #1 position for in North America and #2 worldwide.
