Micros-Retail Moves up to #2 overall on the RIS Software Leader Board
Micros-Retail, a division of MICROS Systems, Inc. and leading provider of retail technology for the specialty and general merchandise retail industry, is pleased to announce that, for the third year running, Micros-Retail has placed in the top three of the Top 20 Software LeaderBoard of solutions companies as ranked by retailers.
The company ranked second overall, a calculation based on the breadth of its solutions, revenue factor, and customer satisfaction. Micros-Retail also scored high in fourteen subcategories including "Leaders in Customer Satisfaction," "Leaders in Return on Investment,” "Technology Innovation,” and “Leaders in Product Reliability.” In addition, Micros-Retail was recognized in nine new categories this year, including “Overall Performance” and “Quality of Service,” among others.

The survey, conducted by an independent third-party research company on behalf of RIS News, invited thousands of retailers to rate 99 software vendors in terms of technology innovation, ROI, support, ease of installation, TCO, reliability, recommendation, ease of administration/maintenance, ease of integration, and overall performance. The researchers also evaluated the breadth and depth of the companies' product offerings and its fiscal strength.
