iXtenso Strengthens its Market Presence with a New Team
Online trade journal iXtenso expands with a new partner and service team. Dirk Mager announces retirement from the management.
iXtenso online trade journal extends its service team and gains a new partner to take advantage of its growth potential.
Following a very positive company result in the first half of 2008, iXtenso starts a new chapter of its success story. In order to meet the growing demand for more editorial content and improved service to a growing number of advertising partners, iXtenso strengthens its service team with media consultants Gudrun Hambitzer, Inga Kuhlow und Lio Nanzig. Furthermore, Kathrin Burghof will be head of the editorial staff.
The co-operation of iXtenso and Bonn based publisher beta-web GmbH, that has proven its efficiency at EuroShop 2008, will become more closer. From 1 August onwards beta-web GmbH will be new member of iXtenso. Marc Pradel, managing partner of iXtenso, explains: "beta-web is an experienced player in online publishing. Their existing infrastructure in the areas of customer services and editorial provide an excellent opportunity for iXtenso to fulfill the wishes of both users and advertising partners even better than in the past." "As a well established and unique online media iXtenso offers access to an attractive market segment. It is a most promising gain to our product portfolio", Michael Wackerbauer, managing partner of beta-web GmbH states.
While beta-web becomes a new member of iXtenso, Dirk Mager announced his retirement from the management by 31 July 2008. "I am leaving with mixed feelings in order to dedicate myself to a new business area", states Dirk Mager. "I would like to thank all of our partners for their trust and cooperativeness. In the last couple of years iXtenso has developed a unique profile in the media landscape and with beta-web as a new partner it will be even more capable. Our advertising partners can be sure to be in good hands with our new service team of beta-web. May I wish all of you and iXtenso the best of luck and success in the future."
