Hoeft & Wessel AG has appointed Torsten Seipelt as Head of Sales in the Ticketing division Almex for the regions of Germany, Austria, Switzerland as well as northern and eastern Europe. Seipelt (aged 41), a graduate in engineering, studied telecommunications technology and has had 16 years’ experience in the public transport segment. He joined Hoeft & Wessel in 2001.
The appointment of a Sales Head and the planned reinforcement of the team responsible for the German-speaking states as well as Scandinavia, Finland and eastern Europe is the answer of the Almex division to burgeoning demand and will lay the foundations for further growth. In recent years, Almex has developed into a leading provider of ticketing systems for the public transport segment in Europe and managed to post substantial increases in turnover.
