Clarity Commerce Solutions plc and AWEK Conclude a Partnership Agreement for Germany and Scandinavia
The AWEK retail business (that is: microdata GmbH of Bielefeld, and AWEK C-POS GmbH of Barsbuettel near Hamburg/Germany) announced at the trade show euroCIS 2009 the conclusion of a contract with the British IT specialists Clarity Commerce Solutions plc. Clarity Commerce Solutions plc distributes POS solutions and services since 1991 in the area of retail and is one of today's most innovative retail supplier of technology on the market – worldwide. The clients range from theme parks to department stores, DIY, fashion, tourism and the food industry.
The future cooperation between the two companies will initially concentrate on the segments of theme parks, restaurants and retail on the German and Scandinavian market. Being solution-oriented AWEK will integrate the products of Clarity closely into their own applications making it an expedient extension to AWEK’s product range as well as customer service. As general contractor this will open up new business opportunities for AWEK and establish new market segments. Already at the end of January essential steps were taken in Scandinavia for a successful collaboration between Clarity and AWEK.
