Discrete and easy to install, the G5 AutoDome 600 Series is a high-speed pan/tilt/zoom (PTZ) camera that is suitable for round-the-clock applications. The camera features a ¼” CCD sensor, with 550 TV lines resolution and sensitivity to below 1.0 lux for performing in low light. For operation in the darkest conditions, these cameras automatically switch from color to monochrome for greater infrared illumination sensitivity. The shutter speed slows to as little as one second, thus increasing sensitivity by more than 50 times.
The G5 AutoDome 600 Series also contains an advanced digital signal processor that provides real-time video processing for smooth object tracking. This intelligent technology enables the camera to ignore unimportant background motion, allowing for reliable, optimized viewing. All the housings have recessed screws and latches to prevent tampering, as well as an impact-resistant polycarbonate bubble to protect against vandalism, while the outdoor pendant housings operate at temperatures as low as -40°C (-40°F). The series is therefore suited to various applications in a wide range of environments.
