Whether you are a viscom “old hand“ or a newcomer – already the start pages offer precisely the information you need. Visible straight away, a slide show points to the different viscom exhibition segments. The trade fair video provides more comprehensive information on the fair. The page also includes a quick and simple ticket booking function. At the same time, it also provides links to information on the major themes of the fair, such as industrial inkjet printing and innovative materials as well as digital signage or the viscom awards which are granted each year in appreciation of the creative potential in the industry.
“A stronger emphasis on service and up-to-date information – that was what we wanted and that is what we achieved“, is how viscom director Petra Lassahn explains the advantages of the new Internet presentation. Thanks to state-of-the-art technology, the large number of information items listed on the homepage can be amended quickly and easily. Simpler navigation focusing on specific target groups and tailor-made content make it easy for the user to find the information that is relevant to him.
New functions allow visitors to prepare their trade fair visit based on their own specific interests. In addition to the search for product groups, which serves to find exhibitors sorted by industry segments, the login section provides further help. Here users can compile their own personal and annotated list of exhibitors. Vice versa, this means that exhibitors are located more quickly. Exhibitors can also access their online catalogue entry here and change and enlarge it any time they wish.
Like the previous version, the new viscom homepage is published in German and English. In addition, the facts and figures on the fair are now available for download in 11 additional languages.
