Ace Hardware loyalty program in retail grocery
ProLogic integrates Ace Rewards program with grocery point-of-sale (POS) systems
ProLogic Retail Services, the largest third party provider of loyalty marketing solutions to independent grocers, and Ace Hardware Corporation are jointly announcing Ace Hardware's adoption of ProLogic's technology for enabling the Ace Rewards loyalty program in retail grocery stores that are also Ace retail stores. Using ProLogic's technology, the Ace Rewards program can now deliver discounts to shoppers through the grocer's point-of-sale (POS) system.
Retail grocery has become an important channel for Ace Hardware, the world's largest retailer-owned hardware cooperative. Ace Hardware operates both "store-within-a-store" configurations and adjacent storefronts with participating retail grocers to provide one-stop shopping for consumers. Now with ProLogic's help, Ace Hardware can deliver discounts on its hardware products through the grocer's POS system.
"We are pleased to add this capability to the Ace Rewards program in Ace Hardware retail grocery stores," said Rick Williams, Vice President of IT. "ProLogic's long history in the grocery industry and deep expertise in grocery POS systems makes them a great collaborator for Ace Hardware in this market. Using ProLogic technology, we can now offer a wide range of discounts and promotions delivered in the grocery checkout lane."
"ProLogic is delighted to team up with Ace Hardware to bring this capability to their grocery retailers," said Ross Ely, president and CEO of ProLogic Retail Services. "Enabling promotions and discounts on Ace Hardware products at the grocery checkout benefits both consumers and grocery retailers."
