The XG3 is Janam’s next generation, gun-shaped, rugged mobile computer.

It incorporates the latest technological advancements in a newly designed form, eliminating the weight and bulk associated with competitive devices. As the lightest industrial-grade device in its class, the XG3 excels in challenging environments such as manufacturing facilities, distribution centres, plant floors, loading docks and other harsh environments.

The XG3 is powered by Windows Embedded Handheld 6.5 and incorporates the choice of either a 1D laser scanner or 2D imager for high performance barcode scanning. Other winning features include a 3.5” colour display with hardened glass, ARM Cortex-A8 CPU @1GHz and choice of keypads to provide the performance, power efficiency and flexibility that enterprise and government customers require. The device also integrates 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and support for Voice Over IP (VoIP) for reliable voice and data.

Built with the user in mind, this light and ergonomically designed device fits comfortably in the hand, perfect for scan intensive or extended shift use. The XG3 is IP65 rated and is able to survive multiple six-foot drops to concrete. It also delivers long battery life with a standard 5200mAh hot-swappable Li-ion battery ensuring uninterrupted operation during the shift.
