The perfect terminal for tough stock applications
The robust DT-X30R-50C hand-held terminal comes equipped with many practical features particularly suited to tough stock applications in industrial, logistics and retail environments. In addition to logistics companies, the extraordinary features offered by the DT-X30R-50C are also an ideal solution for professionals such as manufacturers with extensive storage areas. The robust housing cleverly integrates the practical function keypad for users of a 5250/3270 terminal emulation and the all-range imager with auto focus, which can read ident codes from both close up and afar. However, there is still room for other functions such as the digital camera with auto focus and LED flash for speedy image and damage documentation.
All-range imager
The newly developed CMOS auto focus imager reads two-dimensional codes with high data volumes, such as DataMatrix, Aztec, PDF417 and even QR codes. The imager recognises all standard barcodes (depending on the line thickness) from both close up and long ranges.* The imager is tilted down slightly in the housing head for an ergonomic fit. It has a laser pointer target beam and can be activated by three easily accessible scan buttons. The device is also available with an optional pistol grip, which facilitates many tasks. Audible or visual feedback confirms that the scan is correct.
2-megapixel digital camera
The hand-held terminal DT-X30R-50C also comes with a built-in digital camera. The LED flash function enables you to take quick and reliable photos of goods and packaging or of the load state of lorries - even in poor light conditions. Thanks to the integrated auto focus, one click is all it takes to take a photo. No need to repeat photos due to unclear images.
WLAN and Bluetooth® included
Wireless LAN and Bluetooth® offer a whole host of options for integrating modern data transfer standards into powerful industrial applications. Thanks to the integrated WLAN and Bluetooth® interface, a wide range of communication options is at your fingertips. This ranges from transferring data via WLAN to the company network, to mobile printers and network printers, as well as synchronisation between the DT-X30R-50C and a PC or other terminals. The DT-X30R-50C meets standards IEEE802.11b and g as well as Bluetooth® Version 2.0. Your network and data are also effectively protected against external attacks thanks to features such as WPA and WPA 2 encryption.
3.5" CASIO super LCD
Whether digital camera, PDA or industrial-standard Pocket PC: genuine CASIO LCD technology is renowned for its excellent quality. CASIO LCDs stand for outstanding luminosity, colour fidelity, rapid function and long life. The transflective display of the DT-X30R-50C is highly scratch-resistant and is made exclusively from high-quality special plastics. It is even easy to read in blazing sunshine. Excellent power management allows minimum power consumption for long operating times - even with particularly display intensive applications.
Outstanding ergonomics and simple operation
The DT-X30R-50C makes work easier and increases efficiency, as its ergonomic design was developed in accordance with ISO 13407 with a strong focus on the needs of the end-user. The design of the product is based on a universal design concept and is unique in the industrial design of hand-held terminals. The housing combines a large display with a slim, ergonomic form. The terminal is easy to hold and the keys for number entry and scanning are extremely user-friendly. Despite the fact that the keyboard layout has been expanded (now with 12 function keys), the hand-held terminal is still compact. This effective design is particularly popular with users when it comes to stock applications, as it makes work easier when numerous scanning processes need to be carried out. The key separators are another great feature, which make the keys a lot easier to use, particularly when wearing gloves.
Drop and splash proof in accordance with IP67
CASIO hardware stands for complete reliability and long life. The devices prove their worth every day in tough working conditions. The housing of the DT-X30R-50C is made from durable plastic and can survive several drops onto concrete from 1.80 metres. The terminal is also dust and splash-proof in accordance with IP67 and is fully functional in temperatures of -20°C to +50°C.
