GSE builds two logistics platforms for Michelin in Europe

GSE builds two logistics platforms for Michelin in Europe...

The first project is the construction of a 20,000 m² extension of the Araia platform in the Spanish Basque Country, which GSE originally constructed in 2002. Construction work has begun, and will be finished in January 2013.

The second project is the creation of a new building on the Landau site in Germany, on which a 13,000 m² platform was delivered in 2011. Construction work has started for delivery in March 2013. GSE must complete these projects without disturbing business activities on these two sites.

These two projects are the fruit of an engineering approach developed in partnership with Michelin. GSE have capitalised on experience acquired by building many projects for Michelin during the past 15 years, and can now offer an optimal design for the specific needs of storing tyres, particularly in terms of protection against fire and high density storage.
