TOSHIBA TEC Europe, a leading retail and industrial automation solutions provider, announced that TOSHIBA TEC was awarded the coveted 2007 G-Mark Good Design Award in Japan for two of its new state of the art technology products marketed in Europe.
The 51st edition of G-Mark, organized by the Japan Industrial Design Promotion Organization (JIDPO) is supported by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI).
One of the companies from various areas and fields participating in Japan’s most prestigious Design competition, TOSHIBA TEC captured two prizes for the TOSHIBA TEC Corporation. TOSHIBA TEC is one of the largest independent divisions of TOSHIBA Corp. and focuses on Retail Automation, Auto ID solutions and MFPs.
The new TRST-A15 (double-sided) label printer, and the ST-A10 Touch POS terminal were chosen by the jury out of 1,043 contenders of a total of 2,945 entries.
The TOSHIBA TEC team consisted of the Design Department, Corporate Technology Division and the Systems Products Department, Retail Information Systems Company.
