Toshiba announces new addition to TCxWave solution
New, sleek TCxWave brings powerful retail solution with compact design to deliver consistent brand experience
Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions, a global market share leader in point of sale technology, today announced a new addition to the TCxWave solution family, TCxWave Model A30.
This new model brings the retail-hardened, award-winning design of the original TCxWave to a smaller footprint, while offering a consistent and unique brand experience throughout their customer’s shopping journey.
Today’s consumer demands a level of brand interaction and seamless shopping experience that requires versatile, stylish and functional technology. The TCxWave family enables store associates to offer their customers a consistent experience, along with the freedom to use one platform for multiple purposes throughout the store, as a kiosk, self-service system or simply as traditional point of sale (POS). Like the original TCxWave, this latest, the TCxWave Model A30 is intuitive and retail-hardened, for a reliable solution for today and tomorrow.
"Following the success of the TCxWave and the positive impact the solution has had on the market, we knew a compact version would benefit retailers looking for an easy to use, reliable solution, whose space may be at a premium,” said Alan Outlaw, Vice President of Commerce Technologies, Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions. “This new model provides the same unmatched level of service and design that customers and associates depend on with Toshiba solutions.”
“We look forward to partnering with Toshiba to bring our specialty retail and hospitality customers the new TCxWave,” said John Pruban, President, Level 10. “Its smaller footprint and affordable price point coupled with the total cost of ownership of staying on a Toshiba platform makes for an effective solution to address our customers’ POS system needs.”
The new TCxWave A30 features a touch screen interface which delivers pinpoint accuracy with multi-touch capability, and is operated by an Intel quad core processor, supporting the latest Windows platforms. The product will be generally available starting in August.
