Tame the warehouse with the new ultra-rugged M3 Mobile UL10 from Maxatec
Maxatec has extended its range of ergonomic rugged M3 Mobile products with the newly released M3 Mobile UL10 – a class-leading, ultra-rugged, powerful handheld computer running Windows CE, which leaves the competition standing in price/performance stakes. Designed and manufactured by multi-award winning M3 Mobile, the new device is perfect for demanding warehouse applications.
The IP65-rated M3 UL10 means business. Its highly efficient computing power, memory and expandable memory, and choice of keyboards and displays makes it very flexible so that it can be adapted for any situation. It has USB, serial, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity and a choice of long distance barcode readers, plus a camera.
As well as being tough (1.8-m drop test), it can operate in very low temperatures (down to -20°C) and in high humidity environments (95 percent humidity). Terminal emulation is possible using Wavelink TE. Customers can also specify an optional pistol grip.
“The M3 Mobile UL10 will no doubt send shockwaves through the market. It offers high specification at a price point that makes it the most cost-effective device of its kind. We predict that 2014 and 2015 will be landmark years for this ultra-rugged handheld as it stakes a claim in the best-in-class category for rugged warehouse handhelds. We think the competition, particularly some of the leading warehouse brands will be very worried about the entry of this device on the market,” says Steve Berry, Director, Maxatec.
Paul Johnston, Sales Director UK and Eire for M3 Mobile adds, “The UL10 will no doubt make its mark over the next 18 months or so as warehouse operators review their existing hardware and other organisations move forward into automation. Working with Maxatec we can provide an exceptional product for the industry and supported by Maxatec’s mobile know-how and experience we expect to see a lot of success with this new device.”
