SAF’s Presentation at EuroCIS - Key Success Factors in Introducing Automated Replenishment and Forecasting Software
natura Drogeria and SAF will make a presentation on February 12, 2009 at 12:00 noon in the EuroCIS Forum.
During the current economic and business environment, retailers are looking for ways to increase sales and reduce process costs. Thereby replenishment planning becomes a critical success factor.
More and more retailers are recognizing the benefits of automated replenishment and forecasting software – lower warehouse costs, fewer out of stocks, more satisfied customers – and, bottom line, higher profits. To be able to capitalize on the advantages of conversion from conventional, supplier-driven replenishment, to future-oriented, demand-driven replenishment as quickly as possible, retailers must not only change processes but also involve their employees.
The Polish natura Drogeria drug store chain implemented the SAF SuperStore software to optimize its replenishment processes and to be prepared thereby for future growth. natura implemented the new system with SAF within just a few months. Andrzej Uryga, Commercial Project Director of natura, and Jürgen Conrads, SAF Vice President Sales, will report about the challenges in converting from manual to software-based replenishment.
What was the key to success for natura? Why was it so important to get the employees of the company involved in the conversion process? Why did natura select the SAF software, and how did the conversion process go? What successes has the Polish retailer already achieved as of today?
natura Drogeria and SAF will provide answers to these questions during their presentation and the discussion thereafter in the EuroCIS Forum (Hall 14, Booth A82) on February 12th at 12:00 noon. SAF will demonstrate the new release of its core products, SAF SuperStore and SAF SuperWarehouse, at its exhibition in Hall 14, Booth C36. Expanded functionalities of the software increase forecast quality. Price developments at suppliers and cannibalization effects, that is, the influence of promotions on sales of other items, are considered in the calculations. The Swiss company has also optimized the breakdown of forecast results and the reporting.
