Picodome
The world’s smallest vandal-resistant dome with Cam_inPIX® technology
With a housing diameter of just 80mm (IP 66 vandal-resistant) and a dome cover measuring just 57mm (polycarbonate), the Picodome offers users a highly discreet security solution. But its small size is not its only quality: Thanks to its Cam_inPIX® technology the Picodome is the world’s first minidome capable of delivering a picture quality normally only achieved with much larger cameras.
The ultra high dynamic range of the camera (up to 120 dB) with its high-resolution sensor technology (540 TVL, 720x540 pixels) provides clear, colour-true and detailed pictures at all times, without any blooming or smearing.
Features of the Picodome include 1/3” DPS picture sensor with a fixed lens (F1.4/3.6mm) and light sensitivity of < 0.2 Lux (in Slow Shutter mode). Field of view at 1/3” is D = 110°, H = 83.2°, V = 61.6°. Image transfer rate is 50 fps (PAL); 60 fps (NTSC).
To save installation time, the DDF3000APV features a simple to use push-point-and-lock function, which enables the engineer to configure the camera to point in any required direction.
Other features include Progressive with Segmented Frames, backlight compensation, AGC, Gamma correction, signal to noise ratio of >48 dB and a slow shutter speed of up to 8x. Seven presets are available: Universal, Details 1, Details 2, Indoor/Shadow, Indoor, Fluorescent and Low Light. The DDF3000APV features both colour and black/white modes. Configuration is remote using Dallmeier’s UTC functions.
