Interactive networking for true sales success

Smart distribution of video content at the POS

Modern retail marketing is all about communicating the right offers to the customers at the right time and in the right place. “In order to ensure the greatest possible efficiency and sales speed, for example during campaigns and special placements, access to the respective POS media must be central, simple, timely and technically absolutely reliable,” explains Werner Vogt, Managing Director of Permaplay Media Solutions.

Interactive networks are the most powerful way to integrate end consumers into the respective product and brand world. They consist of interactive screens, with updating of screen contents via a cloud system. “This path to the customer opens up the use of the full range of modern communication functions. This refers above all to the daily adaptation of the advertising messages to different target groups. Especially in this area of Media Solutions, we are making good progress at Permaplay.”

With the help of Permaplay network signage, it has never been easier to play promotional video content centrally controlled on virtually an infinite number of screens at the POS. The Permaplay network solution is a cloud-based service which is fully supported by the monitors (Android). This makes it easy to control, monitor and update the screens at the POS via the Internet. The input masks of the Permaplay network software ensure simple and safe operation. There is one technical requirement, as Marketing and Sales Manager Findaria Sunardi knows: “The respective market needs network access, but that can be taken for granted in today's modern retail landscape.”

High-quality, particularly robust screens in sizes from 10” to 32” are used, all of which are specially developed and produced for permanent and network use at the POS. The outstanding features include central management and control of the video content via the Internet (LAN/WLAN) or software, automatic start of the POS screens when power is supplied, and storage of the values set once, for example for volume and brightness. And of course, all Permaplay POS screens are prepared for VESA assembly.

The Permaplay professional screens allow the content to be updated via the Internet/cloud system using the Android media player. “Thus, updates can be made not only weekly or daily but exactly at a specific time of day to reach a specific target group,” says Findaria Sunardi.

Centralized, effective POS sales promotion has never been easier or more efficient. The experienced specialists at Permaplay Media Solutions help you to use sales-active digital signage networks for customer, visitor and employee communication in the stationary trade or in companies. Take advantage of our many years of expertise gained from successful national and international digital signage projects.
