ICSC welcomes Sandra de Jenken as new Managing Director Europe
The International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) is pleased to welcome Sandra de Jenken as new European Managing Director.
Sandra brings several years of experience working for the French government and organising major events – having been Tournament Director for the Roland Garros (French Open) and Grand Slam tennis tournament.
Sandra attended the European Advisory Board meeting in Munich and was the first choice after a final recruitment process of 3 candidates with new EAB Chair Josip Kardun, and former EAB Chair Bertrand Courtois-Suffit.
Sandra will be moving from Paris to London in the upcoming weeks. In the meantime, Mike Morrissey will be transitioning his European responsibilities to her, starting with advocacy, marketing, communications and ICSC’s European specialist working groups.
Commenting on her new role, Sandra said “I am very pleased to join ICSC and to work for such a dynamic industry. I look forward to this new challenge.”
Mike Morrissey, ICSC’s Executive Vice-President & Chief Global Officer said “I am delighted to welcome Sandra to the ICSC European team, based in London. I worked with Sandra many years ago when we both worked in tennis associations so I know very well her excellent communication skills and work ethic. Since then, Sandra has built up considerable experience in government relations and running major events, which will be invaluable for our advocacy and networking activities.”
