A flat bezel free screen contributes to sleek appearance and aids usability. The 2cm thickness has been enabled by the use of the latest LED backlighting technology.

The 15” multi-touch projected capacitive screen is bright and easy to use, making it ideal for the latest generation of POS or customer facing multimedia applications, which are designed to deliver fast transactions, great customer service or marketing messages.

High performance computing

The Digipos A500’s motherboard supports a range of Intel 3rd generation processors; G540, i3 and i5 Ivy Bridge processors, making it capable of performing a myriad of functions in addition to running POS applications. The result is choice at the time of purchase or an upgrade path should you wish to start with the entry level processor. Choosing the i5 core processor will give you the option to deploy Intel AMT (Active Management Technology) and Raid to improve system management and data security.

Modular design for serviceability

Designed to be highly durable and easy to service, the Digipos A500 offers easy access to the CPU module, cable connectors, cooling fan, hard disk and has an easy to replace external PSU. All these features contribute to low cost of ownership by making our system really simple and quick to maintain, even by store staff. A die cast aluminium body ensures its stunning appearance is maintained for years and exudes an elegant and sturdy appearance on any counter.

Extensive range of peripherals

A wide range of peripherals have been designed to integrate with the Digipos A500 to maintain its sleek and elegant appearance. Available are a choice of peripherals such as MSR, iButton, 2 line customer display and 10.4” colour customer screen. These optional peripherals give the Digipos A500 the flexibility to be configured to serve the needs of a wide variety of demanding retail and hospitality applications.

Efficient thermal cooling

Powerful processors need to be cooled efficiently to maintain performance and reliability to support the delivery of excellent customer service. The use of an all aluminium casing and an optimised air flow means faultless operation under heavy workloads.
