This GSM/GPRS terminal with secure integrated PIN pad is the payment solution for merchants who require true mobility. Artema Mobile guarantees fast and secure data transmission for all payment types. Additionally, it provides all the standard functions of a mobile phone. With its ergonomic design, Artema Mobile is ideally suited for mobile merchants, from delivery services, and taxis, to itinerant retailers and tradesmen.
GSM/GPRS module for universal connectivity
Artema Mobile guarantees fast and secure card authentication and data transmission. With its built-in GSM/GPRS module and integrated antenna, the terminal can operate in both GSM 900 and DCS 1800 networks. In GPRS mode, fast communication set-up reduces online transaction times, and beneficial tariffs for packetbased data communication allow reduced communication charges.
Robust and ergonomic design
With its robust and ergonomic design Artema Mobile fits easily into the hand, and yet provides a high degree of resistance to the strains and stress of rigorous daily use. The built-in thermal printer ensures quick and silent printing of high quality receipts, whilst the “Easy Click” paper load and accessible battery pack guarantee minimum downtime.
Secure PIN entry
The internal PIN pad meets all payment industry security standards, for all debit, credit and e-purse schemes using chip or magnetic stripe technology. Additionally, Artema Mobile is linked to a terminal management system (TMS) which allows remote configuration, software download and problem diagnosis, optimising terminal maintenance and support.
Standard mobile phone functions
In addition to secure payment, Artema Mobile gives access to all standard mobile phone functions, such as making and receiving calls, SMS messaging and e-mailing. The terminal supports multiple accessories, such as headset and car charger.
