WeDo Technologies announced that the world's largest operator, franchisor, and licensor of convenience stores, 7-Eleven, has selected its RAID 7 software solution for the retailer’s Mexican operations. This represents WeDo Technologies’ first retail customer in the Mexican market and signifies the beginning of the company’s growth in this region.
With more than 1,700 stores across the country, 7-Eleven México needed an enterprise business software suite to deliver end-to-end visibility and control of its retail processes; analysing and identifying risks and monitoring and controlling deviations. The solution will be implemented to support 7-Eleven México’s loss prevention department to minimise risk, reduce theft, prevent revenue leakage and improve margins across the organisation.
With an appealing user interface, the RAID 7 Business Control module offers new auditing capabilities for retail processes. RAID 7 was conceived for Enterprise Business Assurance automation, driving continuous monitoring to detect exception before it can cause significant impact to the profit and loss (P&L) statement. It includes core functions around profit and revenue protection, supply chain control and cost control.
Hernando Zambrano, Stores Support Director at 7-Eleven México, said: “WeDo Technologies’ RAID software will play a vital role in supporting our loss prevention department and provide 7-Eleven México with the ability to safeguard against revenue leakage and theft. In order to maintain and protect the revenue levels across our expanding business, it is essential for us to have robust strategy in place to minimise risk that we can always depend on.”
“WeDo Technologies has been selected by 7-Eleven México to help reinforce their loss prevention strategy and uphold its position as market leader in the country. WeDo Technologies will be able to provide valuable support for 7-Eleven México, combining our knowledge of the retail industry with our 13 years’ experience in Revenue Assurance. This partnership is key for our growth in México and we are looking forward to working together to make it a success,” said Maria José Goncalves, Retail Market Manager at WeDo Technologies.
