2020 Exhibits was honored for their outstanding creative at the Exhibitor Magazine’s second annual Portable Modular Awards. The Portable/Modular Awards recognize modular exhibit design and are the industry’s preeminent competition for creators of portable and systems-based exhibits and event structures. Judged by a highly esteemed group of marketing design experts, awards were named and presented to leaders in the portable, modular and custom exhibit industry, all in Las Vegas for ExhibitorLIVE!, the industry’s preeminent trade show for marketing and tradeshow experts.

Honoring design excellence in portable, modular and systems, 2020 Exhibits was awarded the top prize in the Island Exhibit Category for their work with EXPRO and the top prize in the Technology Category for their work with Gardner Denver. 2020 Exhibits was selected from a record number of entries submitted to the competition’s eight categories.

In the Technology Category, which recognizes the innovative and effective use of technology or technological components within an exhibit environment, the judges found a solid winner the Gardner Denver OTC2014 experience. Working in concert with the team at Gardner Denver, 2020 Exhibits focused on creating an environment that was show-stopping, as inspired by the captivating rock tour of international rock super star Justin Timberlake. Delivering a wildly impactful experience for a vitally important target audience at the oil show of shows, the Offshore Technology Conference, the team delivered an equally magnificent projection screen, projector and video mapping solution for the Gardner Denver experience.

As a global manufacturer of oil and gas drilling equipment, Gardner Denver planned for OTC2014 to serve as the launching pad for a new branding campaign: BEYOND TOUGH – Tough isn’t Enough. With a brand identity firmly in place and clear vision 2020 Exhibits delivered. Employing a solid black-and-red color scheme, the exhibit environment reinforced the brand’s feel and focus. Amid comfortable meeting rooms, lead capture via Media Suite and an open, seamless space plan, the exhibit’s centerpiece and focal point was the 14.5-by- 27-foot project mapping screen, which stopped traffic with attendees, clients, dignitaries and the press standing three deep to watch. As a showcase Gardner Denver, OTC2014 succeeded brilliantly.

In the Island Exhibit category, the EXPRO experience, was a hand’s down favorite. Celebrating innovation at OTC2014, Expro projects a bold presence with a two-story open and bright structure. This award-winning environment is anchored by an open and inviting welcome counter with a 90” multimedia screen backdrop, showcasing the EXPRO brand and 40 year journey. The creative design is sleek and modern, with a creative use of interactive multimedia and hanging signage to elevate the brand’s presence. Maximizing the space in a thoughtful, deliberate way, there is no dead space or underutilized surfaces. Combining real-time lead retrieval, custom measurement and analytics with targeted, interactive, digital media meant increased sales opportunity, productivity and revenue. With the centralized management and immediate real-time overview of their custom lead measurement and analytics, EXPRO’s OTC 2014 team increased improved post-show follow up and increased their sales productivity with real-time, sales ready data.
