Two industry leading events on self-service and digital signage solutions with more new events taking place this year from a special focus on mobile interactivity to a dedicated “Interactive Museum” within the show to celebrate Essen being European Capital of Culture 2010.
Twelve weeks before the start of KIOSK EUROPE EXPO 2010 and DIGITAL SIGNAGE EXPO 2010, the events are well on track to reach the expected 150 international companies who will be exhibiting at the world’s largest trade show for self-service solutions and Europe’s largest trade show for digital signage. Successfully held four years running, this year will feature a high profile Open Digital Signage and Self-Service Forum programme alongside the tradeshows. Hall 1 at Messe Essen will open its doors to industry professionals from 15 to 17 June 2010.
KIOSK EUROPE EXPO 2010 and DIGITAL SIGNAGE EXPO 2010 offer visitors the opportunity to find out more about both self-service solutions and digital signage during a single trade show visit. At this cross-sectoral meeting of experts, exhibitors show how retailers, banks, tourism and transportation companies, as well as users from other industries, can communicate cost-effectively with their customers about current content.
Both suppliers of complete solutions and niche suppliers demonstrate their latest solutions and products in the field of digital signage and self-service. Experts in strategic communication and marketing introduce their concepts for successfully integrating the projects into the user’s communication mix. Specialists in monitors, content management and network technology demonstrate innovative solutions. Suppliers of touch sensors, ticket printers and applications for payment processes in cash, by card, mobile phone or simply by fingerprint are expected for the technical realisation of the interaction at the kiosk solutions.
The shows are expanding this year with a special feature on mobile interactivity, another exciting way in which brands can deliver interactive self-service to their customers and augment digital media, and also on cash management, a particularly hot topic in Europe at this time.
“Interactivity in modern communication media at the POS, whether that is at a kiosk or through digital signage, is expanding with the emerging trend of augmentation with mobile devices,” explains Jens Schindler, Managing Director of the organiser, hf media & events. “We have interaction between the consumer and self-service and digital signage, but in the future this will move to another level with further interaction via the mobile device. This makes the whole interactivity at POS more personal and more exciting. We will be exploring this trend at KIOSK EUROPE EXPO 2010 and DIGITAL SIGNAGE EXPO 2010.”
