In a quiet, screened-off area still centrally located in the exhibition hall, bloggers can exchange views with other bloggers and discuss the trade fair, the industry and its innovations.
"Trade fairs are a place for direct exchange, the discussion then often continues in blogs. At viscom we bring both together, thus creating the opportunity for a fast, simple and direct discussion of the trade fair themes with a worldwide community", is how viscom Director Petra Lassahn explains the trade fair's involvement in blogs. The aim is to bring influential commentators directly to where it's all happening. This way, the industry's concerns are also made more widely known to various sectors of the public.
Link-up with the Speakers' Corner lecture forum
The Lounge is located in the Digital Signage World area in Hall 8a, Stand K20. Here bloggers will find comfortable seating and free WLAN access. This year the new, open layout of the Lounge enables bloggers to follow the lectures at the Speakers' Corner from the Lounge. Listening and blogging therefore go hand in hand. The Speakers' Corner is the place for new ideas, products and concepts. In short presentations and with ample opportunity for questions and answers, the latest issues in digital signage, digital merchandising and digital marketing will be dealt with.

Since 2007 the Digital Signage World at viscom has been the point of reference for everything relating to digital signage and information. At its fifth edition, the focus of this "fair within the fair" is again quite clearly on practical aspects. International suppliers of hardware, software and complete solutions present examples of applications from the retail sector, information and guiding systems, interactivity and content.
