With the Estilio free-standing luminaire, TRILUX presents a completely innovative interpretation of state-of-the-art LED technology and not only an extraordinary luminaire. Two aspects become apparent to users at the very first glance: That is, on the one hand, the purist aesthetics of a timeless design object. The luminaire body appears as a flat and simple geometric “strip” that is bent twice by 90˚ to form the luminaire foot and head, thus resulting in a luminaire body that establishes itself as an element in the architecture. When switched off, the luminaire appears as a simple form in the room—purist and unique. To transform the design object into a luminaire, only a single movement is needed literally. By tilting the head, the abstract form changes and six LEDs are turned on without flipping a switch. The head houses the reflector which is continuously adjustable in terms of tilt thanks to a hinge. As a result, the light is directed forwards by means of the reflector.
