The new spotlight BOP from Ansorg

Balanced design, great ease of operation

At the Light + Building in Frankfurt, BOP, the compact spotlight from Ansorg was presented. It was conceived as a product for the power track and provides an optimum price/performance ratio. The design is characterized by generously dimensioned radii that underline the course of the exact edges. BOP gives the ceiling an uncluttered appearance and it is recommended also for low room heights.

Seen from a technical point of view, the focus was on optimum functioning and great user friendliness. The cylindrical spotlight head consists of glass fibre-reinforced plastic selected for haptic reasons and showing a lower thermal conductivity. The reflector casing can be removed completely without the use of tools, making access and
examination easier during maintenance. All parts subject to mechanical loads are made of die cast aluminium so that BOP systematically combines high-grade material properties in a meaningful mix.

For Bop, HIT and LED are available for selection as energy-efficient lighting technologies. The spotlight works on the basis of intelligent, high-quality reflector technology which in particular allows for the minimization of scattered light. The beam angles spotlight, mediumflood, flood and wide-flood permit a wide range of applications. As regards the accessories, the special attachments for glare-free lighting situations area are a further advantage; here, too, the
customer’s comfort and optimum lighting quality are focused on, hence making BOP a universal product for numerous sectors.
