To meet the requirements of the European regulations on food and safety, Eliwell has developed the new Memory 1000 line of multi-channel data loggers, and will be displaying the new product at this year’s IKK.
The regulations, which require the monitoring and recording of temperature data for refrigerated and frozen food products, in accordance to the HACCP control system, came into affect at the beginning of 2005.
The Memory 1000 is able to manage up to four separate areas, thanks to four analogue channels plus four digital channels. The product can be wall or recess mounted and enables storage of the recorded data for one year, and is therefore the ideal solution for small installations where HACCP data recording is required.
The recorded data is easily accessed by means of the graphic LCD screen, which also enables the display of input status, and can be printed by the incorporated printer module without requiring any additional software. The main applications of the Memory 1000 include the monitoring of distribution centres, refrigerated stores, cold rooms and refrigerated cabinets, and plants in the HoReCa sector.
Preservation of food under control with Portable Data Loggers
Compact, high recording capacity and easy of use are the key features of Eliwell's new Portable Data Loggers, designed for fresh and frozen food companies that have to monitor the cold chain of their products from the production plant to the end-customer.
Eliwell Portable Data Loggers enable constant monitoring of the temperature and humidity in the area where they are placed continuously and for a maximum period of 12 months, guaranteeing the correct preservation of food as well as important qualities such as freshness and flavour.
Furthermore, they can also be used in other air conditioned places having particular requirements, such as museums, for keeping the room thermohygrometric conditions under control and thus ensuring the best preservation of the art works on display.
Eliwell Portable Data Loggers can be configured from PC (connected via USB port) by means of a simple step by step procedure, which also enables downloading, display and filing of the recorded data. Operation is signalled by a LED, which also indicates exceeding of the alarm thresholds and battery status.
