SFR a leading French Mobile Telecommunications Company selects Aldata

SFR will use Aldata’s Shelf Planning solution to help grow sales of pay-as-you go packs and top-up cards in hypermarkets

“By using Aldata’s Shelf Planning solution we will be able to structure and manage the rollout of our merchandising strategy as well as reduce the time taken to produce retailer-specific planograms,” said Emmanuel Lapert, Business Development Manager – Retailer Accounts, SFR. “In addition to its planogramming capability we are impressed by the collaborative platform delivered by Aldata’s Shelf Planning solution. This will enable merchandising teams at the headquarters to collaborate easily with sales teams to share plans and concepts with our retailer partners that drive an overall increase in sales to space performance.” Said Fabienne Prigent, SFR Trade & Merchandising Manager.

Why have SFR selected Aldata’s Shelf Planning solution:

  • SFR is looking to consolidate its leadership position in hypermarkets by increasing sales of pay-as-you go packs and top-up cards
  • Currently top-up cards are available at a hypermarket’s check-out. There are no dedicated mobile phone sales areas elsewhere within the stores
  • Through the use of Aldata’s Shelf Planning solution, SFR will equip its sales teams with planograms to demonstrate how allocating a dedicated area to pay-as-you go packs and top-up cards will increase overall sales to space performance for the retailer
  • With Aldata, the SFR team benefit from a collaborative platform. Sales teams are able to easily identify the planogram with the best fit for their retailer customer that has been developed by the merchandising teams. They are also able to localize these planograms further to ensure they meet the specific needs of that store
