Next generation G.O.L.D. store operations with mobile apps

Symphony EYC, the leading supplier of software and services to retailers, manufacturers and wholesalers, announces the next generation of its G.O.L.D. Store Operations and Store Mobility suite.

As well as enabling store associates to improve operational efficiency and decision-making based on real-time and accurate data, the suite has major technology and change management benefits, and G.O.L.D. Store Mobility is now available on leading smart devices, phones, tablets and phablets.

G.O.L.D. Store Operations and Store Mobility continue the evolution of the G.O.L.D. solution family based on Symphony EYC’s “next generation” technology. As well as significant end-user improvements including ease-of-use and smart platforms, all next generation G.O.L.D. solutions provide customers with significantly increased levels of flexibility and cost benefits in terms of deployment and personalization options. Deployments can be “blended” with next generation and legacy versions of G.O.L.D. software for seamless and incremental upgrades; deployments for better control, change and transformation management, can be effected on a process-by-process basis, on a store-by-store basis, as opposed to a traditional “all-at-once” store deployment. Customers can also benefit from rapidity and ease-of-integration for their personalization and customizations.

“Retailers today face the ongoing challenge of managing their supply chains efficiently, so as to deliver the right product volumes, at the right times, onto their store shelves and so drive positive customer experiences,” said Donal Mac Daid, VP Marketing Supply Chain, Symphony EYC. “The economics of in-store operations, comprising staff, operational, product, inventory and technology effectiveness, represents one of the most crucial indicators in retail and supply chain performance. The next generation G.O.L.D. Store Operations and Store Mobility suite provides retailers with a scalable, real-time unified store platform for operational efficiency.”
