iXtenso Retail Trends is now available for browsing

"Retail Trends 2014" appears in time for EuroShop – The special issue from www.iXtenso.com

iXtenso, the online journal for the retail sector, has published the special issue "Retail Trends" in time for EuroShop, "The world’s leading Retail Trade Fair", which will take place in Düsseldorf from 16 to 20 February 2014.

Originally conceived purely as an online journal, iXtenso has definite advantages over a print version. The website is quickly accessible from anywhere and users have direct access to the enormous product and supplier database. Together with up-to-date technical articles and interviews with decision-makers from the retail sector, www.iXtenso.com compiles all the information which the retail trade needs.

Retail trends for 2014

Nonetheless, the editorial team decided to publish a special edition in printed form - as a one-off issue to start with - in time for the EuroShop, the leading retail trade fair in Düsseldorf. Not only can readers now have a printed hands-on copy of iXtenso for the first time – it contains in-depth information on the retail sector as usual.

In the magazine entitled "Retail Trends 2014“, we have selected the most important and interesting articles from 2013 and we have provided an outlook of everything the retail sector needs to know for 2014.  The latest trends and innovations are always the focus of our attention at iXtenso.

Innovative products for the new year

As usual, the print magazine presents the most important retail topics and trends as well as technical articles and interviews with sector decision-makers. As usual with the Online Journal, the articles in the magazine are also divided into the seven main sectors of sales promotion, IT, lighting, service, security, store equipment and climate systems. In addition, we have selected especially innovative products from each category for the magazine. Finally, the magazine contains a register of suppliers and a preview of the main trade fairs and events in 2014.

Print and online are growing together

Of course, "Retail Trends 2014" offers many opportunities to profit from the mass of information published in the Online Journal. Each article, interview and product is provided with a QR code which links to online contents, such as product information or supplier presentations in the iXtenso supplier database. We will produce an e-paper in parallel to the printed version.

Ready for the international market

Not only does iXtenso cover the retail trade in Germany, it is also directed at an international readership. The iXtenso special edition therefore appears in English. In addition, all articles are provided with short summaries in German, Arabic and Chinese to make it easier for interested readers to deal with each of the topics.

iXtenso present at international events

Although EuroShop is the leading trade fair of the year for the international retail sector, it is certainly not the only one. For this reason, the iXtenso Team regularly attends international top events in order to inform their readers about the main trends and innovations. The iXtenso special edition is always there, of course.

Readers who subscribe to the weekly iXtenso newsletter will automatically receive a copy of "Retail Trends 2014" by post. Naturally, non-subscribers may also receive their personal copy - simply order at www.iXtenso.com.

iXtenso not only reports live from EuroShop 2014 in Düsseldorf (16 - 20 February 2014) – this year, the online journal for the retail sector will also be attending the fair with its own stand. The iXtenso Team will be available for talks in Hall 07, Stand A05 on all 5 days of the fair. So come along - we look forward to your visit.
